On the 3/10 episode of NXT, Io Shirai is putting her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Toni Storm. Shirai has reigned as champion since the summer of 2020 when she won the title at TakeOver: In Your House.
Following Adam Cole’s attacks on Kyle O’Reilly, NXT commentator Vic Joseph announced that O’Reilly will be out 4-6 weeks.

2021 women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez are challenging Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on next week’s show. The men’s Dusty Classic winners, MSK (Wes Lee & Nash Carter) are scheduled to get their shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles next week as well but on tonight’s show, they were ambushed by Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson). Wes Lee’s hand was “broken” during the segment.
