REPORT: NWA tapings scheduled for March

The National Wrestling Alliance will be taping content from March 21-24, per report.

The National Wrestling Alliance drew up a great deal of interest on social media when it was recognized that all of the videos on their YouTube channel were pulled. While it has yet to be officially confirmed why they’ve publicly taken down their videos, Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that NWA will be taping content from March 21-24.

In the fall of 2020, NWA taped their ‘Shockwave’ series from Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California. Thunder Studios is the same building that the United Wrestling Network used for their weekly Prime Time Live shows that have since gone on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the months since the NWA has not produced new in-ring content, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis made the media rounds and stated on numerous platforms that the NWA would be back by Spring 2021. The organization’s last Powerrr episode aired in January of 2020.

The NWA recently celebrated the life of roster member, Joseph Hudson who donned the names “Jocephus” and “The Question Mark”. Hudson’s passing was announced on February 25th by NWA President Billy Corgan.
