Jim Crockett Jr. passed away at the age of 76. From the late 70s to the late 80s, he was a co-owner of Jim Crockett Promotions. He took over from his father, Jim Crockett Sr. who passed in 1973. Crockett Jr. sold Jim Crockett Promotions to Ted Turner in 1988 which led to the formation of WCW.
In 2019, Crockett Jr. was featured at Starrcast in Baltimore, Maryland by way of a stage show alongside his brother, David.
