Going into the March 4th edition of NXT UK on the WWE Network, the headlining match for the program was Meiko Satomura challenging Kay Lee Ray for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
The two talents clashed in a match that was highly touted by their peers and colleagues on social media. In the end, it was Kay Lee Ray defeating Satomura to retain the gold.

Kay Lee Ray is coming up on the two-year mark as champion. She first captured the title at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff on August 31st, 2019.
Scheduled for next week’s edition of NXT UK is a mixed tag match that will see Jinny and Joseph Conners take on Viper and Jack Starz. The 3/11 edition of NXT UK will also see the TV debut of Teoman, formerly known as “Lucky Kid”. Sit-down interview segments were conducted with Rhea Ripley, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mercedes Martinez to promote Kay Lee Ray versus Satomura.
