AEW’s women’s roster continues to grow with the announcement of the signing of “Legit” Leyla Hirsch.

AEW’s women’s roster continues to grow with the announcement of the signing of “Legit” Leyla Hirsch.

AEW president Tony Khan revealed the news Monday night following months of Hirsch appearing on AEW programming.

Hirsch came out of the CZW Academy in made her debut in 2017, and has gained international experience in the early stages of her career. In 2019, she competed in wXw’s Femme Fatales tournament, going to the finals where she lost to LuFisto. She was working consistently with Stardom up until March 2020 when the pandemic was in its early stages.

Hirsch first appeared on AEW Dark last October and made her first appearance on Dynamite challenging Serena Deeb for the NWA Women’s Championship the same month.

Recently, she was part of the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament losing to Thunder Rosa in the opening round.
