It was confirmed that former NXT Tag Team Champion Danny Burch suffered a separated shoulder on the 3/17 episode of NXT and because of that injury, he and Oney Lorcan had to relinquish the NXT Tag Team Titles. Burch’s injury occurred in the main event of last week’s show during-which he and Oney took on Karrion Kross and NXT Champion Finn Balor.
With the storyline blame being placed on Kross for Burch’s injury, Oney is scheduled to go one-on-one with Kross on NXT.
NXT UK Champion WALTER is taking on Drake Maverick in singles competition. WALTER is going to defend his title against Rampage Brown at NXT UK: Prelude on April 8th.

The show will also feature NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin going one-on-one with KUSHIDA. Devlin returned to NXT last week and confronted fellow NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar.

Raquel Gonzalez is set to clash with Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship on night one of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Raquel and Io Shirai will compete in a tag match on NXT as Shirai teams with Zoey Stark and Raquel teams with Dakota Kai.
The Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line as well as Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon defend their titles against Jessi Kamea and Aliyah.
