WWE Raw followed up on the Fastlane pay-per-view with a drop in viewership and its key demo rating, although showed a health pattern throughout the show.
Raw finished with 1,816,000 viewers and a 0.53 in the 18-49 demographic going against NCAA Basketball coverage that topped the cable charts and pushing Raw to fourth.
Raw dropped 1.5 percent in viewers and 5 percent in the key demographic. It was their third-lowest performance with overall viewers and second-lowest demo number of 2021. The audience affected most was females 12-34 that dropped by 25 percent and adults 18-34 falling by 24 percent this week.
From start to finish, the show didn’t experience any significant losses with the first hour beginning with 1,816,000 viewers and a 0.52 in the 18-49 demo, there was a slight drop in the second hour to 1,841,000 but the demo rose to a 0.53, and hour three fell to 1,729,000 viewers and the demo remained at a 0.53. From beginning to end, viewership fell by 8 percent and the demo rose 2 percent.
Of the key demos monitored by Showbuzz Daily, six of the eight categories showed increases in the third hour, which is rare. The only audiences that fell in the third hour were adults 25-54 by 4.5 percent and 50+ dropping by 11 percent.
The top competition for Raw was the two NCAA games airing head-to-head with Maryland vs. Alabama and Colorado vs. Florida State.
