The announced class for the 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame currently is: Molly Holly, The Great Khali, Eric Bischoff and Glenn “Kane” Jacobs. As first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Rob Van Dam is going to be joining this year’s lineup. F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer confirmed the report.
Van Dam had several stints with the WWE and his first included him becoming WWE Champion, a Money In The Bank winner, an Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion among other accolades and accomplishments. While working with IMPACT Wrestling, RVD appeared at the Raw Reunion show in 2019.
RVD’s last match with IMPACT took place on the September 22nd edition of their weekly show on AXS. He was working on a per-taping agreement with the company.
The Hall Of Fame ceremony is streaming on Peacock on April 6th. The inductees who were announced for the 2020 class will be a part of this year’s ceremony and that list includes: The Bella Twins, John Bradshaw Layfield, British Bulldog, Jushin Thunder Liger and the n.W.o. (Kevin Nash, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Scott Hall & Hulk Hogan).
Dave Bautista noted on social media that he will not be a part of this year’s class, although he was initially scheduled to be inducted in 2020.
Rob Van Dam is a part of the WWE Icons series on the WWE Network/Peacock service[s] but his episode has yet to be released.
