Raw Women’s Champion Asuka appeared on the 3/29 edition of Monday Night Raw to sign the contract to make her and Rhea Ripley’s title match for night two of WrestleMania 37 official. The two will be in action next week as they’ll team up to take on Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

After the show, Asuka joined Raw Talk with Kevin Patrick and MVP. Shayna’s kick to Asuka’s face that sidelined her and caused her to lose a tooth was brought up. Asuka reiterated that she is still wearing temporary teeth and said, “Three days ago, I got surgery” and pointed at her mouth.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the kick to Asuka also gave her a concussion. Asuka returned to the ring several weeks later on the March 15th Raw and defeated Shayna Baszler.
