NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night two notes: Kyle O’Reilly, Gable Steveson

Gable Steveson appeared at TakeOver, O'Reilly scored the win in the main event, new #1 contenders to the tag titles and more

The last match to take place during night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver was Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole’s Unsanctioned match. It was O’Reilly emerging victorious and Cole was stretchered out of the ring.

NCAA Division I All American Gable Steveson was shown on-screen in the crowd at TakeOver. Gable was seated next to Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and Canyon Ceman, WWE’s Senior Director for Talent Development. Steveson has been open about his desire to work for WWE.

On the TakeOver pre-show, Killian Dain and Drake Maverick defeated Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango). Dain and Maverick secured themselves an NXT Tag Team Title match against the current champions MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee).

Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch were shown in the crowd before the Finn Balor versus Karrion Kross NXT Title match. Burch and Lorcan had to relinquish the NXT Tag Titles due to Burch suffering a separated shoulder.

New NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez was spotlighted on-screen as well. She will have a segment on the 4/13 NXT.
