WrestleMania 37 night one concluded with Bianca Belair defeating Sasha Banks to become SmackDown Women’s Champion. The show also featured the in-ring debut of Bad Bunny who scored a win for him and Damian Priest over John Morrison and The Miz. During the match, Bad Bunny hit a Canadian Destroyer onto Morrison.

WWE issued a press release noting that the official attendance for night one of WrestleMania was 25,675 inside Raymond James Stadium.

There was a rain delay as the show began at 8 PM EST. This led to the likes of MVP, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E) and Seth Rollins cutting on-the-spot promos to kill time.

WWE 2K22 was officially announced. Rey Mysterio was the focus of the promotional video.

Mandy Rose slipped up during her entrance due to the rain. AEW President Tony Khan chimed in and recalled what he did to prevent any slippage at Daily’s Place when it rained.

Longtime WWE super fan Vladimir Abouzeide was given an award by Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Stephanie McMahon. It was then revealed that a documentary about him is coming to the WWE Network.

The WrestleMania 37 night one POST-show is live for patrons and to check that out, head over to this link.
