On next week’s AEW Dynamite, Tay Conti will get her shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship when she challenges Hikaru Shida.

Kris Statlander was back in in-ring competition following her return from ACL surgery in the main event of Dynamite two weeks ago. She defeated Amber Nova and celebrated with Chuck Taylor, Trent and Orange Cassidy after the match.

Mike Tyson was the special enforcer for Chris Jericho and Dax Harwood’s singles match. Tyson is aligned with The Inner Circle and he stood in solidarity with them as The Pinnacle walked away from the ring after Harwood’s loss. Jericho announced that Tyson is being added to The Inner Circle as an “auxiliary member”.

Christian Cage was approached by Team Taz (Hook, Powerhouse Hobbs & Taz) and was asked to give a response to their offer about joining the group. Christian exchanged a few verbal jabs with Taz and that led to Powerhouse Hobbs beating Christian down. The two will go one-on-one next week.

Anthony Ogogo was victorious in his in-ring debut as he defeated Cole Karter via referee stoppage.

During his promo segment, Miro stated that he will be coming after a title whether Kip Sabian is by his side or not. Sabian was last on Dynamite when he and Miro lost the Arcade Anarchy match.

Also scheduled for the 4/21 show is Ricky Starks versus Hangman Adam Page along with Trent versus Penta El Zero M.

To open tonight’s Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeated PAC and Rey Fenix to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
