Friday Night SmackDown did not follow the pattern of Raw and NXT with its viewership dropping after WrestleMania.

Friday’s episode on Fox averaged 2,119,000 viewers with a 0.56 in the 18-49 demographic. Unlike Raw and NXT that experienced growth in their viewership, SmackDown fell 6 percent in overall viewers and declined 8 percent in the main demo, according to the information from Showbuzz Daily.

It was SmackDown’s lowest viewership since March 19th and the smallest 18-49 number since February 26th of this year.

Last week’s episode was promoted as “WrestleMania SmackDown” featuring the annual Andre the Giant Battle Royal and a Fatal Four-Way Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

SmackDown was tied for third among network programs in the 18-49 demo equalling the rating for ABC’s 20/20 and falling behind Shark Tank and Blue Bloods. SmackDown was fifth in the 18-34 demo.

In Canada, SmackDown finished with 195,300 viewers and 95,800 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. They were going against a Toronto Raptors vs. Orlando Magic game, which was the most-watched sports broadcast that night in the country.
