WWE has introduced its newest class at the Performance Center with six additions including one Japanese standout joining in a coaching capacity.
The names included as part of the new class include:
Sari Fujimura a.k.a. “Sarray”, made her in-ring debut on NXT this past Wednesday in a match against Zoey Stark after a promotional build-up the prior week. She has been wrestling since 2011 and announced in February 2020 she was leaving Japan for the United States. However, due to the pandemic, she continued to work in Japan and wrestled until this past January and later revealed she had signed with WWE.
Sanjana George is 24-years old from India with a background in MMA and participated in the March 2019 tryouts in India. Tapology lists her amateur MMA record at 1-1 with both fights occurring in 2016.
Jennifer Michell Cantu Iglesias is from Monterrey, Mexico with WWE and was a high-level weightlifter. She is the daughter of Bronco, who wrestled in Mexico including in CMLL. While the WWE is listing her at 23-years of age, her bio online states she was born April 9, 1996, and would have just turned 25.
Hideki Suzuki, 41, is joining the coaching staff at the Performance Center. Suzuki is a 12-year veteran and worked for promotions including NOAH, Big Japan, Inoki Genome Federation, and Zero1. He trained under the late Billy Robinson before making his debut in 2008 and later, wrote about book about the teachings of Robinson.
Matt Farrelly is a native of Sydney, Australia, and is best known as a contestant on Australia Survivor: Champions v. Contenders in 2019. He did independent wrestling in Australia working as “Matty Wahlberg” while also working as a high school history teacher. He was trained by Robbie Eagles and Madison Eagles and debuted in 2017.
Finally, Steph De Lander is part of the class and also from Sydney, Australia. De Lander was trained by Madison Eagles and debuted in 2017. Over the past two years, she has primarily wrestled for the PWA in Australia while also competing in the past for SHIMMER, RISE, and Black Label Pro.
