Coming out of Friday Night SmackDown, two championship matches have been announced for next week’s show including one for the Universal Championship.

In the closing segment, a rematch was put together between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan for the April 30th edition of SmackDown. The match has the stipulation that if Bryan loses, he is banished from Friday Night SmackDown.

Friday’s episode featured Bryan’s first appearance since WrestleMania 37 where he absorbed a conchairto before being pinned along with Edge by Reigns in the main event of the second night’s show. On Friday, Bryan teamed with Cesaro to defeat Jey Uso & Seth Rollins in a match that lasted more than nineteen minutes.

Next week’s edition of SmackDown will also feature the latest rematch involving Apollo Crews and Big E. for the Intercontinental Championship. Crews defeated Kevin Owens on Friday’s episode after a distraction by Commander Azzez led to a roll-up cover by Crews.

After several failed attempts, Crews defeated Big E. for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 37 on Sunday, April 11th.

SmackDown also featured the return of Aleister Black, who has been off television since last fall. Black appeared in a taped vignette reading from a book titled, “Tales from the Dark Father” about a boy that failed to slay a dragon but became the dragon. Black referred to the audience as monsters who should be condemned.
