The partnership between IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued to unfold on the 4/29 edition of IMPACT on AXS. It was announced that former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion El Phantasmo is coming to IMPACT next week.
Phantasmo was last in action for New Japan at the conclusion of the Castle Attack tour. He was involved in a three-way alongside BUSHI and El Desperado for the vacant IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title which was won by Desperado.
This upcoming appearance for IMPACT will be Phantasmo’s first appearance for the company.

Fellow New Japan talents David Finlay and Juice Robinson successfully defended the IMPACT Tag Team Championships against Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson at Rebellion.
