WWE is promoting a ‘Throwback’ themed edition of Friday Night SmackDown for next week’s episode on FOX.
A short promo ran throughout Friday’s edition of SmackDown with vintage WWF clips and a voiceover by Vince McMahon.
During the show, Seth Rollins issued a challenge for Cesaro, which was accepted for next week’s episode at the ThunderDome.
It’s the first time SmackDown has presented a nostalgia version of the show. The company has presented three editions of “Old School Raw” beginning in November 2010 with subsequent themed episodes in 2013 and 2014.
