Charlotte Flair added to Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania Backlash

Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley and Asuka will compete for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania Backlash

**UPDATE**

Following her win over Dana Brooke, Charlotte Flair demanded that Sonya Deville add her to the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania Backlash. Sonya agreed to do so. Deville brought Flair back from her “suspension” early as well.

**ORIGINAL**

Several weeks after her arrival to Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley went on to WrestleMania 37 to defeat Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship. The two had a rematch on the Raw after WrestleMania but that bout was interrupted by Charlotte Flair.

Come WrestleMania Backlash on May 16th, Asuka and Rhea will meet once again with the Raw Women’s Title on the line.

This past WrestleMania was Ripley’s second in a row. Last year, she lost the NXT Women’s Title to Charlotte Flair on the show.

Prior to losing the Raw Women’s Title, Asuka had been reigning as champion since August of 2020. As of this writing, here’s the lineup for WrestleMania Backlash:

  • SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley
  • WWE Championship — Triple-Threat Match: Bobby Lashley (c) (w/ MVP) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman
  • Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair
