The main event of this week’s NXT was a no disqualification match for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. Going into the match as champions were Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon who won the titles the night the belts were introduced to the NXT brand. They put their titles on the line against the duo of Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae who left as champions.
Their bout went past the 10 PM EST mark and it included Shotzi Blackheart falling through ladders, jumping off the top of platforms and Indi Hartwell hitting a springboard elbow drop through a table. In the end, it was LeRae getting the pin over Blackheart to win the tag titles for herself and Indi.
