Coming up on May 30th, Pro Wrestling NOAH was going to host a tribute show for the late Mitsuharu Misawa. It has been 12 years since the former 3-time GHC Heavyweight Champion passed away.

NOAH made the announcement today that due to certain areas of Japan being under a state of emergency because of rises in COVID cases, the 5/30 show has been cancelled. It was a decision that was made by the Ota City General Gymnasium as the building is now temporarily unavailable for use.

There was going to be a GHC National Championship match at the Misawa memorial show. The new champion Takashi Sugiura was scheduled to defend against Kazushi Sakuraba.

NOAH is running shows on the 15th and 22nd of May at Korakuen Hall. All Japan is running that venue as well over the next week with no fans in attendance.
