Dating back to Miro’s debut for All Elite Wrestling in September of 2020, he was paired with Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford as Sabian’s “best man”. Coming out of a loss to Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy on Dynamite, Miro attacked Kip in the backstage area and Kip has been off TV since.
Sabian took to social media today and shared that he underwent surgery and it was a success. Sabian added that now it is time for him to rebuild. He previously mentioned on Twitter that he needed surgery.
Surgery was a success, now we rebuild.
Thanks everyone who reached out ✌🏻🖤

Sabian’s last match was the aforementioned tag bout involving himself, Miro, Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. That match featured the returns of Kris Statlander and Trent following their respective injuries.
In the main event of last week’s Dynamite, Miro defeated Darby Allin to become TNT Champion. Post-match, Miro was confronted by Lance Archer. AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view is scheduled for May 30th and here’s the card for that show as of this writing:
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Britt Baker (w/ Rebel)
- Anthony Ogogo (w/ The Factory) vs. Cody Rhodes (w/ Arn Anderson)
- Casino Battle Royale: Christian Cage, Matt Sydal
- AEW World Championship — Three-Way Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy
- Hangman Adam Page vs. Brian Cage (w/ Taz)
