WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP kicked off Raw by announcing that an open challenge would be taking place on the show. There were a number of talents who stuck their claim to that match throughout the episode of Raw. Answering the challenge was former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston who defeated Lashley with an assist from Drew McIntyre.

Nikki Cross returned to Raw. She was a lumberjack for Damian Priest and John Morrison’s match. Cross was the only member of the women’s division at ringside.
After capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles this past Friday on SmackDown, Tamina and Natalya put their titles on the line against the former champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Tamina and Natalya retained. Towards the conclusion of the match, Reginald attempted to get involved and Alexa Bliss prevented him from doing so by bringing flames up from the ring post. Bliss expressed interest in both Tamina and Natalya earlier in the show.

Ricochet and United States Champion Sheamus went one-on-one once again. Sheamus bested Ricochet on the WrestleMania Backlash Kickoff show. Sheamus picked up another win over Ricochet on Raw.
