Bronson Reed and Johnny Gargano met inside of a Steel Cage in the main event of tonight’s NXT. At the conclusion of the match, it was Reed raising the title above his head as the ninth talent to hold the North American Championship.
Fellow member of ‘The Way’, Austin Theory was ringside for the Steel Cage match and made numerous attempts to give Gargano the advantage. When Reed gained control of the situation, he shoved Theory off the cage and dove onto Gargano before he could exit. Reed opted to not win the match by leaving the structure so he went to the top rope and hit another splash onto Gargano to win the title.
