Former IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards’ pre-taped match at IMPACT’s Under Siege show aired on May 15th. Edwards, Juice Robinson and David Finlay picked up a win over Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.

According to PWInsider, just several days after that match aired, Edwards underwent surgery for appendicitis.

F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer first noted on the 18th of May that Edwards was dealing with appendicitis. At the time of the report, it had not been confirmed if Edwards underwent surgery or not.

Edwards has been a member of the IMPACT Wrestling roster since 2014. Throughout his time with the company, he has captured the tag titles on multiple occasions, won the X Division Title and is a TNA Triple Crown Champion.

At the Rebellion pay-per-view in April, Edwards teamed with Chris Sabin, Willie Mack and James Storm and they were defeated by Joe Doering, Rhino, Cody Deaner and the debuting W. Morrissey, also known as CazXL.
