The partnership between IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling has led to Juice Robinson and David Finlay capturing the IMPACT Tag Team Titles, El Phantasmo appearing on IMPACT programming and talents from IMPACT competing in New Japan’s Super J-Cup tournament.
On next week’s IMPACT on AXS, former two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and 30-year veteran Satoshi Kojima is appearing on the show. The announcement was made on the 5/20 episode of IMPACT.

Kojima was last in action in early April. He and Hiroshi Tanahashi teamed up at Sakura Genesis and they defeated Bad Luck Fale and Jay White.
New Japan is resuming live shows on 5/22 and Kojima is not on that card. It is not known if Kojima will be in action next week on IMPACT or if he’ll just be in a segment. IMPACT’s next event is Against All Odds on June 12th that is being headlined by Moose challenging Kenny Omega for the IMPACT and TNA World Heavyweight Championships.
