NWA Women’s Championship Match announced for Buy-In

AEW has announced that the NWA Women’s Championship will be defended this Sunday on the Buy-In portion of Double or Nothing.

AEW has announced that the NWA Women’s Championship will be defended this Sunday on the Buy-In portion of Double or Nothing.

Current champion Serena Deeb will defend the championship against former AEW Women’s Champion Riho with the Buy-In airing free at 7:30 p.m. ET prior to the Double or Nothing pay-per-view at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Riho has not appeared on AEW programming since March when she wrestled on the first edition of AEW Dark: Elevation. She also wrestled on the Buy-In at AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view the same month teaming with Thunder Rosa against Britt Baker & Maki Ito.

Deeb has held the NWA Women’s Championship since October of last year when she defeated Thunder Rosa on the UWN Primetime Live event.
