Opening up the 5/31 edition of Raw was a MizTV segment with guests Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. This was Miz’s first appearance on WWE programming since losing the zombie Lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash. It was reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline that Miz suffered a tear in his ACL in the match. Miz confirmed that he is injured but not did elaborate on the extent of his injury.
Reginald and Shayna Baszler had a singles match on the show. Fire arose from the ring post which gave Reginald the advantage and it led to him pinning Baszler for the win. Later in the show, Baszler confronted Alexa Bliss and challenged her to meet her in the ring next week.
