MLW has announced the signing of the former Mil Muertes to a multi-year deal as the company prepares for its ‘Restart’.
The former Lucha Underground performer, who also worked as Ricky Banderas and Judas Mesias in CMLL, WWC, AAA, and TNA, debuted earlier this year for MLW and is now being billed as ‘King Muertes’.

Muertes will be part of the ongoing Azteca Underground story, which is led by Cesar Duran (the former Dario Cueto in Lucha Underground).
MLW will return with a live event on Saturday, July 10th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with fans able to attend.
Bauer added that ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis will be returning to the promotion in July for the forthcoming season. DeAngelis worked for MLW during its first incarnation that launched in 2002.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
