During Friday’s live edition of Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo debuted for the promotion and briefly addressed the audience.
After interrupting a segment involving Mark Henry, Vickie Guerrero made her way to the ring and proceeded to introduce Andrade El Idolo.
During his brief segment, he said he would become the face of AEW before leaving with Guerrero.
The former NXT Champion requested and was later granted his release by WWE this past March after working for over five years with WWE.
Andrade is also scheduled to challenge Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Heavyweight Championship this August at TripleMania.
