To open the season premiere episode of NWA Powerrr on FITE TV, NWA owner Billy Corgan and Mickie James made the announcement that on August 28th, the NWA is hosting an all women’s pay-per-view that Mickie will be the executive producer of.
The following night on August 29th, NWA is going to present their 73rd Anniversary pay-per-view. Both of those events will emanate from St. Louis, Missouri.

Mickie James was released from WWE along with Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Samoa Joe and several more performers in April. Following her release, James appeared on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast and discussed the idea of wanting to do an all women’s event.
She worked backstage for WWE in a producer role during the period she was recovering from an injury.
