NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021 is scheduled for June 13th. On 6/12, there will be a global press conference to promote the event. Wade Barrett and sports media personality and journalist, Arash Markazi are hosting. The presser kicks off at 11 AM EST and it is going to stream on Peacock and WWE’s digital platforms.
Io Shirai lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Raquel Gonzalez at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in April. Io has made one appearance on TV since that loss. She returned to NXT on tonight’s show and was brought out by Poppy. Shirai took out NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae.

During a segment with William Regal and Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Poppy released her EP titled “EAT”, which is the official soundtrack of the NXT brand. Dexter Lumis gave Poppy a drawing he made of her and she responded by giving him a hug. Indi Hartwell walked in on Poppy and Lumis embracing.

On the 6/15 NXT, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will meet Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) in a Tornado Tag Team match. Grizzled Young Veterans were in action on NXT and they defeated August Grey and Ikemen Jiro.
Dok Hendrix (Michael P.S. Hayes) had several segments on the show and he ran down the TakeOver: In Your House match card.
