WWE Raw sees increase in viewership in U.S. and Canada

Monday’s episode of WWE Raw saw the show increase its viewership over the past three weeks heading into Hell in a Cell.

Monday’s episode of WWE Raw saw the show increase its viewership over the past three weeks heading into Hell in a Cell.

The USA Network viewership was reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics with Raw averaging 1,742,000 viewers and 0.49 in the 18-49 demographic. The demo rating represents 637,000 viewers.

It was Raw’s highest audience and 18-49 numbers since the May 17th episode prior to the start of the NBA playoffs.

In Canada, Raw faced significant sports competition including the NHL playoffs where the Montreal vs. Las Vegas game averaged 2.3 million viewers. WWE Raw averaged 196,500 viewers and 97,500 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. Last week’s episode averaged 189,300 viewers.

The Canadian sports line-up also included a Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox game and the NBA playoff game between Philadelphia and Atlanta.

It was the highest Canadian audience for Raw since May 17th, mirroring the trend in the U.S. this week.
