NJPW has announced three stadium events beginning with the rescheduled date at the Tokyo Dome that will feature Shingo Takagi vs. Kota Ibushi.

The news was made Wednesday during the Kizuna Road event with the Wrestle Grand Slam event taking place Sunday, July 25th at the Tokyo Dome.

Initially, the company was going to run the Tokyo Dome on May 29th but the state of emergency in Japan led to the postponement of the event.

Earlier this week, newly crowned IWGP Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi stated his pending match with Kota Ibushi needed to take place on “the biggest stage”.

In addition, NJPW will be running two events at the MetLife Dome (formerly the Seibu Dome) on Saturday, September 4th, and Sunday, September 5th. These shows will also be part of the Wrestle Grand Slam series. This will occur the same weekend as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in Illinois.

The last time the company ran the Seibu Dome was for the finals of the G-1 Climax in 2014 that saw Kazuchika Okada defeat Shinsuke Nakamura.
