The 6/17 edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS was built around Anthem sending a representative to resolve what occurred at the Against All Odds show where Don Callis “fired” Sami Callihan from IMPACT. At the conclusion of tonight’s program, it was revealed that Tommy Dreamer is that representative and Dreamer passed along the news that Callis has been “fired” from his executive role in IMPACT.
Since the Fall of 2020, Callis has been regularly appearing on AEW programming alongside AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Callis is also managing AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.
In May, it was confirmed by both Fightful Select and PWInsider that Don Callis was no longer in his Vice President role with IMPACT.

Satoshi Kojima picked up a win over Rhino and with that win, Kojima earned a title match for himself and Eddie Edwards. Kojima and Edwards will challenge Cody Deaner and Rhino on 6/24 for the IMPACT Tag Titles.
Also announced for next week’s show is a singles match between Kiera Hogan and Rosemary. Rosemary tossed Kiera Hogan into a trash can on tonight’s IMPACT and as Kiera got up, she pulled out a trash bag that had “Mickie” written on it.
The IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo is going one-on-one with Susan next week.
