Fans will be in attendance at an IMPACT Wrestling show for the first time in well over a year for their Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 17th. Recently added to the Slammiversary lineup is an Ultimate X match for the X Division Championship.

The reigning champion Josh Alexander will share the ring with Trey Miguel, Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Rohit Raju and Petey Williams in the first Ultimate X match since 2019.

This match came about because of the result of the five-way at Against All Odds. Trey, Ace Austin, Bey, Rohit and Williams were competing for an opportunity at the X Division Title. Austin’s partner, Madman Fulton got involved when he noticed that Austin was not going to be the winner of the match and he took out all of the competitors.

Along with the Ultimate X match, Kenny Omega is defending the IMPACT and TNA World Heavyweight Titles against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary.
