This coming August, the National Wrestling Alliance is presenting two pay-per-views back-to-back on August 28th and 29th. The 8/28 show is titled ‘Empowerrr’ and it will be an all-women’s event. Mickie James is going to be the Executive Producer for the event. Mickie has already stated that she is not wrestling on the Empowerrr card.

The following night is NWA’s 73rd Anniversary show and today via Instagram, James stated that she is wrestling on that show and is looking for an opponent. She encouraged viewers to tell NWA owner Billy Corgan who they want to see challenge her at NWA 73.

James was last in action during the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble match in January. Prior to that, WWE last had her wrestle in September of 2020. James suffered a broken nose during the Fall of 2020 which put her on the sidelines.

She was released from WWE this past April.

The former 6-time WWE Women’s Champion has gone on record saying that she has done the post-WWE tour in the past when a talent makes the rounds and faces a number of different talents. She explained that she wanted to do something different and that came in the form of Empowerrr.
