Following the Hell in a Cell event, viewership figures for WWE Raw remained steady in the U.S. and Canada.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, this Monday’s edition of Raw averaged 1,719,000 viewers with 630,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo.
The numbers are essentially flat from last week, which saw Raw average 1,742,000 and 0.49 in the 18-49 demo (637,000 viewers) on June 14th. Including this week, the past four editions of Raw have averaged 1,665,000 viewers.
In Canada, Raw averaged 196,600 viewers and 90,700 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. This was almost identical to last week’s average viewership of 196,500, although last week’s 25-54 figure was 97,500.
Monday’s episode in Canada went against Game 3 of the New York Islanders vs. Tampa Bay Lightning series in the NHL playoffs, which topped the sports chart in the country with 1,190,500 viewers. This week was Raw’s highest viewership average in Canada since May 17th.
The show featured the first Hell in a Cell on Raw since the summer of 1998 as Bobby Lashley took on Xavier Woods. There was also five Money in the Bank qualifying matches that featured Ricochet, John Morrison, and Riddle qualify for the men’s ladder match. Naomi, Asuka, Nikki Cross, and Alexa Bliss qualified for the women’s ladder match.
