After returning on Friday Night SmackDown, Edge is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Money in the Bank show next month.
Edge returned on Friday’s program, attacking both Reigns and Jimmy Uso as the show went off the air with Edge standing tall in the ring.
It was the performer’s first appearance since night two of WrestleMania 37 where he and Daniel Bryan were pinned simultaneously by Reigns on April 11th.
A segment aired on Saturday’s edition of Talking Smack where Edge demanded that Adam Pearce make the match.
