Next week’s NXT is titled Great American Bash and the full lineup for the show has been announced. There were two additions made to the card. L.A. Knight is defending the Million Dollar Championship against Cameron Grimes. If Grimes loses, he must become Knight’s butler. Also, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell are putting their Women’s Tag Team Titles against the duo of Zoey Stark and Io Shirai. Stark and Shirai earned that opportunity by besting Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez along with Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in a three-way tag match.

Mercedes Martinez teamed up with Jake Atlas to take on Xia Li and Boa. During the match, Xia delivered a spin kick to Martinez’s head and it connected flush. The match was called off by referee Aja Smith.

Ahead of their match at Great American Bash, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly met face-to-face in the ring. Samoa Joe was present to make sure that they did not come to blows. After Cole brought up O’Reilly’s wife, the two began to brawl and O’Reilly locked in a heel hook on Cole. Samoa Joe allowed Kyle to do so and later called for security to come to the ring and separate the two.

The commentary team for tonight’s show consisted of Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett. Beth Phoenix was not present.
