New ROH World Tag Team Champions crowned at Best in the World

Homicide and Chris Dickinson brought the ROH World Tag Team Titles to Violence Unlimited

Homicide and Chris Dickinson brought tag team gold to Violence Unlimited at Best in the World.

Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus were originally scheduled to defend the ROH World Tag Titles against Chris Dickinson and Homicide. Due to a car accident that Tracy Williams was involved in-in early June, he was not cleared by the Maryland State Athletic Commission. It was then announced that Jay Lethal would be filling in for him but Lethal could not compete after his match against Brody King at Best in the World.

The only member of The Foundation that remained who could defend the titles with Titus was Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham, who had just gotten out of a match with Mike Bennett. Dickinson and Homicide were able to capitalize on The Foundation’s luck and they defeated Gresham and Titus to win the tag titles.

This is the first time that Dickinson or Homicide have held ROH tag team gold. To get a recap of Best in the World, check out POST Wrestling’s coverage of the pay-per-view.
