As IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary was closing out prior to its final match, several of their upcoming events in the coming months were announced. On July 21st, they will be presenting their ‘Homecoming’ show and on October 23rd, IMPACT is running the biggest show of their calendar year, Bound For Glory. The show is emanating from Las Vegas, Nevada and AEW, AAA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be involved.

A vignette aired during the pay-per-view to promote the arrival of the ‘Drama King’. That is the nickname of Matt Rehwoldt, the former ‘Aiden English’ in WWE.

FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) made their return to IMPACT Wrestling. They picked up a win over Mahabali Shera and Madman Fulton. FinJuice were last featured on IMPACT in May when they dropped the tag team titles to Violent By Design.

The Ultimate X match was won by Josh Alexander. He retained his X Division Championship with the victory.

The current Invicta FC Atomweight Champion Alesha Zappitella was present at Slammiversary. Anthem Sports & Entertainment purchased Invicta Fighting Championships in April.

Chris Sabin defeated Moose in their match at Slammiversary.
