Moxley is bringing a mystery partner to the L.A. Coliseum for NJPW Resurgence.
With just two weeks left until New Japan Pro-Wrestling presents their Resurgence show from the L.A. Coliseum, the match card is beginning to round out. New Japan pushed out an announcement on their digital platforms from Jon Moxley.
He stated that he will be present at Resurgence and he plans to bring a mystery partner to challenge the IMPACT Tag Team Champions Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. Prior to that announcement being made, it was revealed that due to travel restrictions, Shota Umino will not be present at Resurgence or the Fighting Spirit Unleashed tapings on August 16th.

As a result of travel restrictions, Shota Umino will be unable to compete at Resurgence on August 14 or Fighting Spirit Unleashed on August 16.

Earlier this week, Moxley called out Hiroshi Tanahashi. Tanahashi made a cameo appearance at AEW Fight For The Fallen to state that he is next in line to challenge for the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title.
Tanahashi is getting his shot at Lance Archer and the title at Resurgence. Here’s the updated card for the show:
