Melina is getting a shot at the Knockouts Championship.
As tonight’s episode of IMPACT on AXS rolled on, Mickie James brought out the challenger to Deonna Purrazzo’s Knockouts Championship at NWA EmPower and it was none other than Melina.
Purrazzo and the former 5-time WWE Women’s Champion both signed the contract to make it official and they will meet on August 28th in St. Louis with the Knockouts Title on the line.

Melina is a part of the National Wrestling Alliance and her most recent match aired on the 6/29 episode of Powerrr during which she took on Kylie Rae.
At AEW’s Homecoming show, Leyla Hirsch defeated The Bunny to earn a shot at Kamille’s NWA World Women’s Championship and that match was made official for EmPower. Along with those two championship bouts, the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup is scheduled for EmPower and the winner gets a NWA Women’s Title match.
