Shinsuke Nakamura is Intercontinental Champion once again.
The first match on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Oklahoma saw ‘King’ Shinsuke Nakamura challenging Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship. Although Crews had Commander Azeez at ringside, Nakamura was able to score the win and become WWE Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career.
Rick Boogs was banned from ringside by the referee prior to the match starting. The final sequence of the match saw Nakamura hit Crews with an ‘Exploder Suplex’ and then followed up with the ‘Kinshasa’ to win the title.
