Tuesday’s taped edition of NXT showed an increase over last week’s episode coming off the TakeOver 36 event on Sunday.

The August 24th edition averaged 685,000 viewers and 205,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The show finished 27th for the night on cable, according to the Showbuzz Daily chart. Cable news programming dominated the night with seven of the top ten slots on Tuesday led by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.

This week’s episode was up marginally from last week’s figures of 654,000 and 200,000 in 18-49, increases of 4.7 percent and 2.5 percent respectively.
