Will Ospreay has tested positive for COVID-19 and is displaying mild symptoms according to an update from Revolution Pro in the UK.

The company issued a statement Wednesday morning:

Will Ospreay has tested positive for Covid-19. He is fully vaccinated, only has mild symptoms & is otherwise healthy. He will be following protocols and will be out of this weekend’s shows.

He is still expected to be able to compete at September 19th’s High Stakes.

Ospreay later posted a video confirming the news of his status and added that he is fully vaccinated and “I’ll be fine”. He will be resting for the next ten days and plans to be back in the ring soon.

The 28-year old last wrestled on August 21 & 22 for Rev Pro in Manchester against Doug Williams and Portsmouth against Robbie X.

We wish Ospreay a full and quick recovery.
