Noam Dar is unable to defend the title.

The ICW World Heavyweight Championship had been in Noam Dar’s possession since February 2020 when he won it at the ‘Square Go!’ event. Insane Championship Wrestling made the announcement today that the title has been vacated because Dar is unable to defend.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dar was not able to make his way to Scotland to defend the title at ICW events. The promotion noted that they are hopeful that Dar can return in the future. There will be two four-way elimination matches on 9/26 and the winners of those bouts will meet at ‘Fear & Loathing’ for the vacant title.

Dar appears regularly on the weekly NXT UK program. He hosts his ‘Supernova Sessions’ talk show on NXT UK. He is also in the semi-finals of the Heritage Cup #1 contender tournament and will be facing Kenny Williams in that semi-final match.
