Jake Atlas vs. Taylor Rust added to ROH Death Before Dishonor

Former NXT talents Jake Atlas and Taylor Rust, the former 'Tyler Rust' will be in action against one another at ROH Death Before Dishonor

Jake Atlas and Taylor Rust to make their returns to Ring of Honor.

It was promoted that two recently released talents were going to be competing against one another at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor show. During the ROH Week By Week YouTube program, the two talents were revealed to be Jake Atlas and Taylor Rust, the former ‘Tyler Rust’.

A singles match between the two has been added to Death Before Dishonor on September 12th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Both Rust and Atlas have competed for Ring of Honor in the past. Atlas worked with the company in 2019 at the post-Death Before Dishonor TV tapings. Rust was a part of the Pure Title tournament in the Fall of 2020.

Atlas and Rust were both signed to WWE and a part of the NXT brand before being released. Rust was a member of the new Diamond Mine group alongside Roderick Strong, Hideki Suzuki and Malcolm Bivens. He was released two weeks after his last match in the company.

The Death Before Dishonor lineup is taking shape and here’s the updated card:
