Against ESPN’s coverage of College Football, WWE Raw finished second for the night on cable with a small drop from last week.

The September 6th edition of Raw averaged 1,849,000 viewers and 670,000 (0.52) in the 18-49 demographic, per Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The show was down 11 percent in viewers and 7 percent in 18-49 from the week prior and was Raw’s lowest average audience since August 16th.

The show began with 1,958,000 viewers and 0.54 in the 18-49 demo for the first hour, it fell to 1,842,000 and 0.52 in the second hour, and down to 1,748,000 and 0.50 in the third hour. From start to finish, Raw fell 11 percent in viewers and 7 percent in 18-49.

The show was structured around the Tag Team Turmoil Match that took up most of the first hour and the final thirty minutes of the show ending with Bobby Lashley & MVP winning the gauntlet to earn a Raw Tag Team Championship match next week.

The cable numbers for Monday were led by the College Football game between Louisville and Ole Miss that averaged 3,078,000 and 0.80 in 18-49 on ESPN. The top show on television for the night was Bachelor in Paradise on ABC that did 0.85 in 18-49.

Males 12-34 fell by 21 percent compared with last week and the same demo dropped 18 percent throughout the three-hour program, representing the largest drop among the key demos on Showbuzz Daily throughout the show.

Females 12-34 increased by 7 percent this week, although did fall by 12.5 percent throughout the show.

The overall 18-49 audience was the most steady throughout the program by only falling 7 percent in the third hour. Males and Females 18-49 each fell by 9 percent throughout the show.

This year’s Labor Day edition of Raw was up from the same episode one year ago that did 1,725,000 viewers and 0.48 in 18-49 going against an NBA game. The 2019 Labor Day edition of Raw averaged 2,507,000 viewers against College Football.

Next week kicks off Monday Night Football as Raw will be against the Baltimore Ravens vs. Las Vegas Raiders game.
