The conclusion of SmackDown featured the return of the ‘Demon King’.
Headlining SmackDown at Madison Square Garden was The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) defending their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins). After Montez Ford hit a ‘Frog Splash’ off the top rope, Roman Reigns entered the ring and prevented Ford and Dawkins from winning the titles.
The Usos and Reigns cleared the ring and Reigns stated that he is not ducking Brock Lesnar and will take him on after he finishes with Finn Balor at Extreme Rules. Finn Balor then came out as the ‘Demon King’ character and it was stated on commentary that the ‘Demon King’ is taking on Reigns for the Universal Title at Extreme Rules.
